I have been a practicing artist since 1990, with my primary focus being Ceramics. I earned my BFA degree in Ceramics and Sculpture at SIU Edwardsville in 1997, where I also developed my skills in Blacksmithing and Sculpture.

I have shown nationally and internationally, with the latest show being held at the Craft Alliance Center for Art and Design, “Crossroads: an Occasion for Friendship”

I have also participated in the Dec. 2003 Biennale Internazionale dell’Arte Contemporanea di Firenze International Group show – Florence, Italy.

I have continued to teach Ceramics professionally for the last 19 years, at schools including Lewis &Clark College in Godfrey Il., SIUE at Edwardsville, Il., STLCC at Meramecin St. Louis, MO., and the Craft Alliance in University City, Mo.

I have designed and built a hybrid Fastfire Kazegama at my home in Worden, IL., where I hold classes in wood firing techniques for local colleges and Faculty, as well as maintain my personal studios in Ceramics and Blacksmithing.
